In PC, Reviews, Xbox One by Aaron LayLeave a Comment

[Review] Super Mutant Alien Assault – Not Your Average Arcade Shooter

In PC, PS4, Xbox One by Will WongLeave a Comment

Super Mutant Alien Assault is definitely one of the most enjoyable games I have ever played combining the simple, yet pleasing 8-bit aesthetics with a nostalgic 2-D platform shooter. Oh yeah, the game also features a ridiculous amount of dub-step so there’s that if you’re into that kind of stuff.

With its large amount of hype and ridiculous amount of crowdfunding, the anticipation of Mighty No. 9, can only be followed by a single word: flop. Likewise, as Inafune left, …

In PC, PS4, Reviews, Xbox One by Eldon TsanLeave a Comment

I won’t be the first to admit that Dark Souls II left a really bad taste in my mouth, nor will I be the last. Thinking back on Dark Souls II’s gameplay genuinely upsets me, so it’s understandable that I’d be hesitant to play Dark Souls III. Luckily, whatever supernatural entity that exists out there has answered my prayers, and From …

[Game Review] Batman: Arkham Knight (PS4)

In PC, PS4, Reviews, Xbox One by Brian HurtadoLeave a Comment

The Arkham series is one of the best superhero-to-video game adaptations around, a feat that is not easily acquired. Rocksteady certainly nailed it in Arkham Asylum, giving us our first taste of what it’s like to be the Batman. In Arkham City, they expanded on it, giving us an open-world section of Gotham to play in. Arkham Knight goes even further, giving us a bigger area, a new …
