Bohemia Interactive has confirmed that the Beta phase of their upcoming military simulation shooter, Arma 3, will begin June 25th via Steam update for pre-purchasers. The Beta build, which was showcased at E3, will feature a veritable armory of new weaponry and vehicles, showcases, multiplayer scenarios, as well as Challenge Mode, which will allow players to practice weapons handling in a variety of courses and drills. Those using the Arma 3 Alpha Lite should note that it will be discontinued as soon as the Beta starts, so anyone still looking to get their mil-sim fix should perhaps think about purchasing the full game, currently at a discounted price that will also end on the 25th.
Arma 3 is expected to release sometime in Q3 of this year.
