News on preorders for the new Final Fantasy, Gundam Breaker, and DLC for the new Shin Megami Tensei today in Japan.

  • Preorders have been made available for the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV.  The bonus items in the collector’s edition include the Helmet of Light from FFI, a Coeurl mount, a set of armor for your Chocobo, and a non-combat pet.  Physical bonuses will be the usual OST, artbook, an art card set, a Blu-Ray of an original animated movie, and an authenticator.  The regular preorder edition will come with a different pet, and an in-game Moogle hat.  The game will release on 8/27/13, but pre-orders will get early access on PS3 and PC.
  • Bandai Namco has announced that the progress that beta testers have made will carry over once they buy the completed game, along with the confirmation of the appearence of the mobile suit Qubeley in Gundam Breaker.  The full game will release on 6/27/13 for PS3.
  • 8 playable characters have been revealed for Toriko Gourmet ga Battle!.  The game will release on 7/4/13 for the 3DS.
  • Shin Megami Tensei IV releases today and with it, the first round of DLC.  A costume, accessories and and a dungeon will go on sale separately.  While the cosmetic accessories are free, the costume will cost 100 Yen (roughly $1 USD) until 6/10, where it will become 200 Yen.  The dungeon includes an unlockable new demon, and will cost 250 Yen (roughly $2.50 USD).
