Today, Microsoft will be revealing what they have in store for their next-gen Xbox console at a news conference in Redmond, Washington. The conference will commence at 10 a.m. PST and end at 11 a.m. PST. We’ll be liveblogging every moment as it happens on this page so check back here often to stay in the know.

  • 10:06 am – Microsoft reveals their “All in One” model for the Xbox
  • 10:07 am – Microsoft reveals their new console’s name, Xbox One
  • 10:10 am – Xbox can be turned on with a simple “Xbox on” command
  • 10:12 am – Commands such as “Xbox go to TV” and “Go to game” alternate between different screens instantaneously
  • 10:13 am – Actions such as buying movie tickets can be seamlessly done while watching a movie, split-screen multitasking
  • 10:14 am – Skype integration announced. Can be used while watching media
  • 10:16 am – ESPN support allows for player stats to be viewed while watching live TV
  • 10:17 am – Xbox One guide introduced. Lists channels available and helps to choose between them.
  • 10:20 am – Xbox revealed to have 5 billion transistors, 8 gigs of ram, USB 3.0, a Blu-ray drive, 8 core cpu, live TV, disc-less gaming, cloud storage, 500 gig HDD
  • 10:22 am – New Kinect catered to the user
  • 10: 23 am – New Kinect features a 1080p HD camera
  • 10:24 am – New controller features improved ergonomic features, an improved d-pad
  • 10:25 am – Kinect SmartGlass integration revealed
  • 10:26 am – 300,000 servers will power Xbox Live this year, up from 15,000
  • 10:27 am – Matchmaking for a game can be started while doing other activities such as watching movies or while playing a different game
  • 10:29 am – New iterations of FIFA, Madden, NBA LIVE, UFC announced
  • 10:30 am – EA Sports Ignite announced, improves upon systems and engines for EA Sports video games
  • 10:36 am – Forza Motorsport 5 revealed
  • 10:40 am – Remedy Entertainment’s Quantum Break announced
  • 10:41 am – Microsoft Studios plants to release 15 exclusive games for Xbox One in the first year, 8 of which are new IPs
  • 10:43 am – TV on the Xbox announced to be able to be switched between with games and other media, will recommend programs for the user based on what they’ve watched, will be affected by the Xbox community
  • 10:46 am – Live-action Halo: The Television Series announced, 343 Industries partners with Steven Spielberg
  • 10:48 am – Xbox reveals partnership with the NFL to allow for features such as viewing a fantasy football team while watching a live football game, exclusive and interactive content
  • 10:51 am – Xbox will launch around the world later this year
  • 10:52 am – All Call of Duty DLC will be available exclusively for Xbox One
  • 10:54 am – Call of Duty: Ghosts trailer shown, new engine, canine ally. Dynamic multiplayer maps (earthquakes, floods), character customization
  • 10:59 am – Call of Duty: Ghost comparison with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 video shown emphasizing significant differences in the engines
  • 11:01 am – Call of Duty: Ghosts world premier trailer shown
