At the Arc Sytem Works 25th anniversary tournament, Arc System Works Festival, the company has just announced a new title in the Guilty Gear series, Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-. Daisuke Ishiwatari once again returns as director and will be on hand to design the next iteration of the Guilty Gear series, which will be on the Unreal Engine. It has been four years since Guilty Gear XX Accent Core, which just recently receieved an arcade upgrade and console ports in the form of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R. From the short trailer, we already see the game’s updated visual style and smooth animations, which even puts BlazBlue to shame. In the trailer, we see a fight between Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske, who is now rocking a ponytail. At the end, there’s a short scene where we can see Millia Rage and Eddie, which confirms four members of the cast so far. At the moment, no release date has been announced yet, but we’re keeping our eyes peeled for this.
